Dr. Ramon Flores

My family has benefited from our public schools and our wonderful community. All three of my children are graduates of our public schools. I believe that all students should have access to rigorous and relevant academic programs that prepare them for college, career and civic life.
 

I am completing my eighth year as trustee on Ventura County Board of Education, representing greater portions of Oxnard, El Rio, La Colonia, and Oceanview.
 

In 2013, I was elected President of the California County Boards of Education, a statewide organization that represents and serves the unique needs of California's 58 county boards of education.
 

Professionally, I am an engineer with the US Navy, having just reached my 25th year of civil service.
