My family has benefited from our public schools and our wonderful community. As a long-standing and experienced trustee on the Ventura County Board of Education, I am seeking re-election because of my dedication to public education and my determination to offer our children schools that: help all learners succeed, reinforce educational foundations, pave the way for future success, and work with parents to foster a safe and supportive environment. 

I commit myself to the following:

  • Strengthening current services including Career Technical Education, Juvenile Court and Community Schools, Migrant Education, Special Education, and Professional Development
     

  • Continuing to hold the Ventura County Office of Education (VCOE), county agencies and their partnerships fiscally and educationally accountable; and
     

  • Continuing my commitment to transparency while holding the VCOE and all public schools to the highest standards
